Ranked sixth in a 2008 20th Century Fox Poll of the most popular film weapons of all time, the Golden Gun wielded by Bond Villain Scaramanga (Christopher Lee) in ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’ (1974) became an instantly recognisable prop. Formed using an interlocking fountain pen, a cuff link, a cigarette lighter & a cigarette case, the weapon could be concealed or utilised within minutes. Bond (Roger Moore) first located Scaramanga by tracing one of the weapon’s bullets to a gun maker in Macau, before embarking on that famous pistil duel on Scaramanga’s island in the Red Chinese Waters. This limited edition resin replica with metallic finishing incorporates all the intricate details of the Hero Prop used in the Film. It comes beautifully mounted inside a framed display (15x14”) with a card hand-signed by Sir Roger Moore from his official book signing in 2008. Accompanies full provenance.
