Regular priceSale price
This prop 100 Dollar Bill was used in Director Christopher Nolan’s Superhero Thriller ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008). The 100 dollar banknote includes cryptic lettering & interweaving lines which replace the statutory features. The banknotes were produced for the scene in which The Joker (Heath Ledger) burns a warehouse of money along with Crime Lord Lau & the Chinese Accountant which he has taken hostage. There were two types of bank notes made for this scene; ones with statutory features which burnt easily & ones with cryptic lettering which were used on screen. This is the latter of the two. The prop comes professionally displayed inside a bespoke frame with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque. The display measures approximately 12x16 inches & accompanies provenance. This item has now sold.
