This is an original ‘Zorin Industries’ decal used in the production of Director John Glen’s 1985 Film ‘A View to a Kill’, as the fourteenth Film in the James Bond series produced by EON Productions. The green circular decal has a diameter of 7.6cm & includes the rendered letter ‘Z’ with a black silhouette of a racing horse centrally. It has an unused adhesive backing with the removable film still intact. Motifs of this kind can be seen throughout the film of varying sizes. Decals of this size were used particularly in the scenes when Bond (Roger Moore) & Tibbett break into Max Zorin’s (Christopher Walken) laboratory and learn that he is implanting adrenaline-releasing devices in the horses. This prop comes professionally mounted in a framed display with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque. Provenance: Originally obtained from an employee of Pinewood Studios, where many of the interior sets were created. Display measures 14x12 inches.
