This Lot is being sold in our ‘Quintessentially Bond’ Timed Auction commencing on 31st May 2025. Bidding will open on this date. The letter, dated 14th October 1998, has been handwritten by Lois Maxwell. Lois was a Canadian Actress who became famous for portraying Mrs Moneypenny in the first fourteen James Bond Films from 1962 to 1985. On the Actresses personal notepaper, Lois grants the recipient’s request to sign autographs for a Charity event & closes the letter with ‘Sincerely, Lois Maxwell’. There is a faint crease in the centre of the letter where it was folded in half, but the document otherwise remains in fine condition & measures 21x14.5cm. The letter accompanies a flyer for the Charity event that it refers to, together with two 8x10” colour stills of Mrs Moneypenny in ‘Goldfinger’.
