The two carabiner clips, each with screw nuts, were used during the production of Director John Glen’s Spy Film, & the twelfth Film in the James Bond Series. From the personal collection of Martin Grace, who played Roger Moore’s Stunt Double & Action Sequence Coordinator in the 1981 Film. These clips would have been used by Martin to choreograph the scenes which see James Bond (Roger Moore) precariously climb the cliff face of the Meteora Monastery in Greece for the Film’s Finale. During the Production, the Greek Orthodox Monks originally opposed the filming, & the Production Crew were required to film on a different elevation of the cliff formation. Provenance: Accompanies a Signed Letter from Martin Grace. Matted & Framed, with a corresponding still & a descriptive plaque. The display measures 21.5 x 14.5 inches overall. Bidding opens on 8th March 2026. Proceeds will be donated to York Against Cancer (Registered Charity Number 1130835).
