The Casino Playing Card, bearing the ‘Circus Circus Casino’ motif centrally and the six of spades suit on the verso, was used during the filming of Director Guy Hamilton’s Diamonds Are Forever (1971). These cards were used at the real Circus Circus Casino in Las Vegas where many of the Casino sequences were filmed. James Bond (Sean Connery) travelled to Las Vegas to trace a diamond smuggling pipeline; in which he finds is being used by Blofeld. The piece comes mounted inside a framed display measuring 9 x 7 inches overall together with a descriptive plaque. Provenance: Originally given to a member of the Film’s Production Crew on location.
