This is a stunt closed throwing star known as a ‘Shuriken’, used in Directors Mans Marlind & Bjorn Stein’s American Action Horror Film starring Kate Beckinsale. The star has been produced using hardened resin over a circular metal frame, with hyroglifics incorporated into each of the three points, & sits on a transparent acrylic display stand. In the sinister fantasy environment of Underworld, these Ninja-style throwing discs are used as combat weapons by Vampires against the Lycons & Werewolves. This prop includes some minor wear & scratching from being used on set but otherwise remains in fine condition. It measures 3 inches in diameter & accompanies a Certificate of Authenticity from The Propstore of London who were tasked with some of the Film’s Asset Management.
