This is a movie-accurate replica of the eerily memorable photograph seen at the end of Director Stanley Kubrick’s psychological Horror Movie ‘The Shining’ (1980). At the end of the movie, the camera fixates on a picture in the Overlook Hotel hallway, of Jack amidst a crowd from the July 4th Ball, 1921. This superb prop replica comes mounted inside a bespoke wooden frame just like the one seen in the Movie, & even includes the white border seen in close-up. We spent four months assessing this scene in intricate detail & speaking directly with several members of the Movie’s production crew who worked on the sets based at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, England. We even had the pleasure of viewing the original screen-used prop; which is owned by The University of the Arts London. Our research allowed us to produce this stunning limited edition prop replica accurately based on the hero prop used in the Movie. The piece comes in a presentation box & accompanies a Certificate verifying the limited edition number & the research undertaken. Hanging fixtures on the reverse of the display make it ready for hanging. The display measures 27x22x1cm overall.
