Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) - A Piece of the European Premiere Carpet

In the highly anticipated conclusion of the Skywalker saga directed by JJ Abrams, the world was transfixed as the Resistance faced the First Order once more. And it was glamorously celebrated on 18th December 2019 with a European Premiere in London’s West End; attended by the likes of Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Anthony Daniels & a list of celebrities from Film & TV. This is a 3x3 inch piece of the rich blue Carpet the stars walked along whilst posing for photographs & speaking to media. The carpet was featured further in world news when the Extinction Rebellion Protesters staged a demonstration by lying on it. The 90 yard carpet was situated in front of the Cineworld IMAX in Leicester Square; running from the Hotel Indigo to the Ruby Blue Bar. On the day following the Premiere, when the set-up was dismantled, a roll of the Carpet was gifted to MovieMania by the Security Crew & Event Management Team. This is a piece from that roll, & is a Limited Edition out of only 500 pieces worldwide. It comes beautifully displayed inside a bespoke frame measuring 18x14 inches with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque. A letter detailing the Provenance accompanies this item with four accompanying photographs. A truly unique & affordable piece of Star Wars history!
