This is a prop gallery invitation used in Director Nia DaCosta’s Supernatural Slasher Film Produced by Jordan Peele. The 6x5 inch double-sided card promotes an exhibition by Artist Anthony McCoy (Abdul Mateen II) at the Gallery called ‘The Fickle Sonance’; a gallery owned by art gallery director Brianna Cartwright (Teyonha Parris). It features the prominent piece of visual art based on the Candyman with textual details on the reverse. These props were used in the scenes where Anthony McCoy holds an exhibition at the Gallery inspired by the original legend from the 1992 Film. It remains in excellent condition with some very minor wear from use on set, & comes mounted inside a framed display (16x20”) with a corresponding still & a descriptive plaque. An aperture has been incorporated into the reverse of the framed display, which reveals the prop’s textual side.
