This prop $100 Dollar Bill was used in Director Christopher Nolan’s Superhero Thriller ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008). The 100 dollar banknote is burnt around the edges & exhibits some minor discolouration. In the bottom right corner reads ‘None Hundred’ which replaces ‘One Hundred’; a comedic feature incorporated by the Production to differentiate the prop notes from legal tenders. The banknotes were produced for the scenes in which The Joker (Heath Ledger) burns a warehouse of money along with Crime Lord Lau & the Chinese Accountant which he has taken hostage. The prop comes professionally displayed inside a bespoke frame with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque. This item was obtained from world-renowned LA-based Archivists ‘Screenused’ & in addition to our own Letter of Provenance, includes Provenance from Screenused. The display measures approximately 14x19 inches & includes hanging fixtures. This item has now sold.
