Prometheus (2012) - Space Suit Glove Part
This is one of the finger shields extracted from one of the screen-used gloves worn by the archaeologists in Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus'. Made from a polycarbonate resin, with two metal studs on either side which would have attached the piece to it's counterparts, this section remains in good overall condition. Gloves which included sections of this kind were used when the crew visit Moon LV-223 and explore a large artificial structure, housing an emblematic statue and a mortiferous snake-like alien species. This piece came directly from the collection of a freelance production assistant who was contracted to work on the film. Displayed inside a laser cut mount with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque, display measuring approximately 18x14". Accompanies Provenance.
