Andrew Simpson, the founder and creator of MovieMania, has been dealing in film props and vintage film memorabilia for over 7 years. His never-ending passion and commitment for MovieMania makes him a valuable provider for the future of fine film collecting.

Andrew started building and hand crafting full scale film replicas at the age of 15 which attracted media on a national scale. As a result of his growing passion for film, he then constructed a private themed cinema in his back garden. His work went on to inspire a personal collection of film memorabilia, including filmstar autographs and some screen-used pieces which soon developed into something more than just a hobby.

Now, after years of experience and developing contacts with some of the film industry's leading studios and specialists, Andrew is able to provide his customers with a service second to none. A service where an individual can actually own, enjoy and invest in a piece of their favourite film.

PROP ART

Andrew believes in 'Prop Art' - where a film prop displayed in a home or apartment can captivate any dinner party audience. ''Props used in a movie are a real talking point amongst guests. People enjoy displaying props on a wall or as a dining room centre-piece because they seem to exhibit an aesthetical importance that no other form of art can project - it's just fantastic'' says Andrew.
