MovieMania is a developing vendor of screen-used & production-used movie props as collectibles. Based in North Yorkshire, England, we bring collectors and enthusiasts closer to their favourite movie by allowing them the chance to own a piece of it.
We were founded in 2001 by avid collector and movie buff Andy Simpson and have gradually evolved into a reputable vendor.
From something as small as Jason Vorhees' fingernail from 'Friday 13th' to the hero ski suit worn by Pierce Brosnan in 'The World is Not Enough', we offer an exciting and constantly changing collection of memorabilia. Andy and his team search the globe to bring collectors the gems of the silver screen, working directly with more than 110 film studios, production companies and the people behind the magic.
We are currently the only vendor in the world who offer provenance directly from the film studios on every item we sell. So you can be assured that you are buying the 'real deal' as well as securing an investment for generations of the future to enjoy. We also have our own on-site framing workshop where we frame and display all our props using the highest quality mouldings and display cases.
Please feel free to get in contact with us if you are thinking of starting your own collection. Or perhaps you are looking for something to finish off your home cinema. Either way, our team members have been collecting themselves for a combined 35 years and they'd be happy to share their knowledge and suggest some pieces which they think might interest you. Andy Simpson, the founder and proprietor of MovieMania, has been dealing in film props and production pieces since 2001. Before this, Andy constructed fan-built film replicas which attracted national media, including the Richard & Judy show, Channel Five News and Radio 2. He then built his own cinema and it wasn't long before he knew that his passion for film memorabilia was more than just a hobby. Andy insisted on exploiting a gap in the memorabilia marketplace wherby collectors could purchase props authenticated by the film studios.
Today, Andy has acquired a small team of researchers who work directly with 24 British and American film studios, and over 90 production companies, to track down the hardest-to-find memorabilia for collectors and enthusiasts to enjoy.
Andy's company has one fundamental goal... to provide a product and a service where
collectors can actually own and invest in a piece of their favourite movie.

Andrew believes in 'Prop Art' - where a film prop displayed in a home or apartment can captivate any dinner party audience. ''Props used in a movie are a real talking point amongst guests. People enjoy displaying props on a wall or as a dining room centre-piece because they seem to exhibit an aesthetical importance that no other form of art can project - it's just fantastic'' says Andrew.
